History
As we all know, for many years women have been fighting for their rights, social status, to prove that they can perform work and hobbies which often are supposed to be "male activities".
In ancient times and long afterwords the gentle sex was often discriminated against. But even in Greek mythology, the first mention of the strong,
imperious women who fought shoulder to shoulder with men and mastered the art of hunting as well as they did and maybe even better.
They have used weapons with precision and horseback ridden perfectly. They were called Amazons, daughter of Ares.
Now women too are fighting for their rights and struggling with the challenges of everyday life. Some of them have switched from live horses to the modern, steel steeds.
In 1998, in the United States a group of women with a common passion for motorcycling and friendship decided to emphasize their bonds and love for two wheels.
Although today they do not have to fight on with the war, but feel a closeness and similarity of charisma rooted in the ancient fighters, they proudly named the Club Amazons.
For them religion, race or age was not and is not important, but friendship, a deep spiritual bond and above all, what they love whole heartedly - motorcycles.
Despite the many difficulties, ups und downs, their friendship is still growing.
